(Oct 22, 2025) iHeartMedia appointed Stefan Schellhas (’96) Market President for Cincinnati.   Schellhas will oversee all operations across iHeartMedia’s Cincinnati market.  In this role, Schellhas will guide its broadcast, digital, social, and live event initiatives.

“Stefan brings not only a strategic vision and proven leadership, but also a deep-rooted understanding of the Cincinnati market,” said Dave Carwile, Division President for the Midwest and Southeast.

A 1996 graduate of Xavier University with a degree in Communication Arts, Schellhas credits two professors for his early success.

“Mrs. (Deborah) Pearce taught us how to further a conversation by listening and just simply asking questions about what we heard.  And Dr. Anderson was a great guy.  He found me an internship with 700 WLW,” one of iHeartMedia’s flagship stations.   “So, returning now truly feels like coming full circle.”

Schellhas grew up in the Gaslight District of Clifton, is married, and has three children.

(Oct 15, 2025)  The E.W. Scripps Company promoted P.J. O’Keefe (’09) to Lead Product Manager across the company.  As LPM, O’Keefe will manage the products that its digital audiences consume and its media teams use across the company.

“After four years as Senior Manager of Digital and Sports at WCPO 9 News,

this is a big leap of responsibility for me.   I will set strategy and drive value across the entire company, not just one local station.   Spending 18 years in a TV newsroom as the "digital guy" has not been without its challenges, but I'm so grateful for that experience and now this new opportunity.”

Based in Cincinnati Scripps serves communities with quality, objective local journalism and operates a portfolio of more than 60 stations in 40+ markets.

O’Keefe grew up in New England, primarily outside Boston MA, and graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronic Media (now DIFT, Digital Innovation, Film and Television) in 2009.

P.J. and his wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of two young children.

NOTE:  The Digital Innovation, Film and Television (DIFT) program is nationally

ranked 3 straight years.
